Content of work Antenna-coupled THz bolometers for room-temperature operation will be developed based on the processing technology of silicon devices. By combining down scaling and MEMS technologies, performance higher than that of conventional one is to be attained. Since our group is mainly in charge of device fabrication, the candidate person should have experiences in the experimental research of electron and/or optical devices. This work is supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) under Industry-Academia Collaborative R&D Program.
Qualifications A person who has or is scheduled to have doctoral degree before the starting date.
Starting date April 1, 2012 (negotiable)
End date March 31, 2013 (renewable based on budget and performance)
Treatment Fixed-term employment regulation of Shizuoka University applies.
Social (medical and pension) insurance, unemployment insurance and worker's compensation insurance are provided (i.e. The employer pays nearly half of the premium).
Commutation allowance is provided depending on the distance and method of commutation.
Overtime allowance is provided if ordered.
Paid vacations are given.
Monthly salary is more than or equal to 299,600 Japanese yen depending on the job history.
