8 students from Shizuoka University, including international students (from India, Indonesia, and Vietnam), and 6 high school students (from Shizuoka Johoku High School, Shizuoka Seiko Academy, and Shizuoka Futaba High School) participated on campus. From overseas, a total of 9 students from Thammasat University (Thailand), University of Indonesia, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and University of Brunei Darussalam participated online.
The main theme of this program was "What we can do for realizing a sustainable world," and participants from diverse backgrounds discussed the topic, and on the final day, they gave group presentations on "What kind of world do we want to create? What can we do to achieve that?" in order to realize a "society where no one is left behind," which is necessary for the world of the future.
Through workshops and dialogue, participants were able to reflect on themselves, understand others, stimulate each other, and turn their eyes to the world and think about "what they can do." In addition, the active communication led to the improvement of their English skills, and participants were very satisfied and learned a lot in this program.
