MoU with the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (BRIN)

On October 21, 2025, a signing ceremony between Shizuoka University and the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (BRIN: Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional) was held during the opening session of the joint symposium of the 6th International Conference on Nano Electronics Research and Education (ICNERE 2025) and the 27th Takayanagi Kenjiro Memorial Symposium.

BRIN is Indonesia’s leading national research institution, where many Shizuoka University alumni are active as researchers. Representing BRIN, Dr. Ratno Nuryadi attended the ceremony, while President Kazuyuki Hizume signed the agreement on behalf of Shizuoka University.

Through this agreement, both institutions aim to further promote research and educational collaboration and foster the development of young researchers. The partnership is expected to strengthen academic ties between the two institutions through joint research projects, researcher exchanges, and other collaborative activities.
